Let’s enter a Fourth of July cherry pie eating contest, sadly said no food allergy kid ever. But then enters the Food Allergy Institute, which has absolutely changed Lily’s life. Not only did she enter the contest with her family and friends, she won it!! To Lily the blue ribbon she earned wasn’t just an award for the fastest pie eater, it was a hard-earned award that symbolized her fight against life-threatening food allergies and celebrated the great bravery and effort it has taken to come as far as she has. To everyone that makes the Food Allergy Institute possible, we are forever grateful. From my family, who once believed there was no hope that our child would ever be able to eat without fear, thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
